nice slicing.. but you didn't play any of the tracks though...
The sampled part is actually a very small portion of it. I added many other parts that have a similar feel to blend in with it.
this is very co sounding! Hope there is more to come.
Thanks a lot! Glad you like it! There will be more soon ;)
wait a tick!
My Atari does this....
Thats a pretty dickish comment/feedback. If you dont like it thats fine but you could at least give some valid points as to what and why instead of this moronic drivel.
I really liked the stuff around the :40 mark.. then there was this broken stuff.. then it was good again'
I am not a big gamer and don't particularly like long drawn out pieces..
I did listen to the hole piece and it was good...
Not a big fan of computer driven stuff.. still old skool!
Very nice catchy as hell piece!
Wish I had of written this..lol
like your work, and the production is great!
Lookin forward to more!
Love the piece! So tight and flowing.
The keys sounded awesome, especially in a metal song.
Keep up the riffing!
Thanks for an awesome and spirited review man, appreciate it like hell \m/ Glad you enjoyed the tune and rock on!
The only way to listen to metal! Way UP!
Keep rockin it this is GOLD!
Love this groove! It's what I expected from you.
thanks, glad you like it!
I love the clarity and clean sound you have here! Experimenting is such fun!
It would be nice to see a list of gear and equipment/software.
I personally would love to garner some insight as to how you get a sound like that!
I am running hardware for all the processes and at 96Khz sampling it starts to boggle me..
Love the piece! Very soothing!
Cheers man. Equipment used:
Washburn acoustic electric, recorded by a shure sm 58 mic with the mesh ball removed, that was plugged into my pod x3 live.
Same with the vocals. The acoustic leads were recorded from the same guitar, plugged directly into my pod x3 live.
The electric guitar was my kids' fender guitar as his the only other guitar in the house that is in standard tuning ( outside of my acoustic). All my guitars are in b and or c. This was also plugged into the pod x3 live.
The pod is USB'd into a computer running xp and recorded directly into cool edit pro. Nothing else.
Cheers for the listen and review!
I like the sound and would have liked to have the words to follow.
But, not a big thing! The mixing could have been better! But, then again I'm new to this as well and have had my issues with mixing as well!
It's just fun to write and put stuff together and hear it as you wanted it to sound!
So, don't worry what others want it to sound like, make it what you want it to sound like!
I learned the hard way and it is not a good way to learn!
But hopefully many people can learn from my errors and indiscretions!
Good piece... JQ
